Our plans for today indicated that we would be gathering with friends for our Kingdom Builders Breakfast gathering to give invitation to ongoing financial partnerships in the work of La Senda Antigua. We hoped to emerge with 10 new partnerships totalling between $2000-3000 monthly for the work of the ministry.
As the poet Robert Burns said well, “the best laid schemes of mice and men often go awry.” Our plans for La Senda Antigua/The Ancient Path for 2020 have been changed by a circumstance we did not see coming. Our financial projections are very much awry.
But, the vision of the work of the Kingdom and the plans of God are never left wanting even in the strangest of times. So, this morning, with a sober understanding of our current surroundings and challenges, I come to you with the invitation to join us in this work. We remain certain of our calling and that the Lord has friends waiting to hear of the work of His hand, that they might become a part of it all.
